Default 50cc trail bikes

i have been looking at getting one of the 50cc bikes(not a pocket bike).
i have heard strong reports about the honda XR50,but is ktms 50cc or yamaha PW50 stand up to the honda xr50 quality. p.s. i will be doing mini stunts and a little trail riding on it.

p.s. would one of these fit in the back of my hatch

KTM '99 250EXC $2,000 '98 Suzuki 250RMX $2,000. '99 KTM50 Pro Senior $1,200. '98 KTM50 Mini Adventurer $600. All like new. All just tuned up. Prices negotiable. Make an offer

this is a add in the local paper. is the mini adventurer a good deal, or is the pro senior worth $500 more

i'd just go with the xr50(or crf50, same thing just different colored plastics). they take a beating, and will fit in your hatch. there are 3 of them i know rather well which have taken countless hours of abuse and are still running strong. hell, one has been accidentally lit on fire from being too close to the firepit and its still good for wheelies whenever wherever.

The crf50's plastics are different shaped and the tank is different too. I like the look of the crf50 over the xr. Anyhow, the bike is a champ. Once you start modding its suspension its a great bike. Then get a big bore kit and yer set. They even have manual clutch kits out for it too. You could fit it in any car.

ahh, thank you. i was never sure as to if there were any other differences between the cr and the xr50's. one of the xr's kickin around has the 88cc big bore kit. some of the best wheelies ever! used, ive seen em run ~600 for a low price.

i have a chance to get a 96 xr50 for 500$, nothing is wrong with it, runs fine, but i plan on putting an 88cc kit on it and do lots of other things, do you think this is a good deal? oh and is there any diffence in the 96's compared to like the 00-04's?

The 82cc kits really rip if you dont mind spending a little extra cash over the 88 kit. My friend has a 12 oclock bar on his xr50. Its pretty funny to someone ride it.

why would you pay more for 82cc's than 88cc's?
