invidia is one of THE nicest sounding exhausts I have ever heard on a honda,
it looks really friggin nice too,
better than the n1 in my opinion.

all the n1 is is a tube welded onto a cylinder.. ooh interesting!!

but the bandwagon loves the n1 sooo.. guess you should go with that...

haha

I have the invidia and it does sound very nice compared to the N1. It is deeper. Performance wise they are about the same, as each has a silencer you can take out and when you do that they are free flowing so that the exhaust would not be the restriction on power, that is unless you are making 200+ to the wheels, then it would be time to get a bigger exhaust...

If you're running N/A, don't get the N1, it's louder than ****.

If you're turbo, don't worry about noise they're pretty much all quiet. I'm running 3.5" downpipe ALL the way back to a 3.5" Apex'I GT-Spec muffler from a supra catback, with a resonator and it is quite quiet. Nice little burble at idle, not too loud at cruising, but screams @ WOT. I've been driving my car 30 miles each way to work lately too, so it's not like I put 5 miles a day on my car.

thanks for posting that blackfire i was just sitting here wishing i had the same footage to post...it isn't that loud at all in the video and you have to think about the fact that the camera was right behind the muffler, so if you are just standing there without your ear in the muffler it doesn't even sound that loud in person.

i think that most people that say the n1 is way loud have either
A.never owned one
or
B.run custom piping(no cat,no resinator,bigger piping) to an n1
muffler

I watched the video, that is not bad but is still louder than the invidia. When I compare my friends N1 with mine, both Type R motors, his with stock cat and mugen 4-1, mine with mugen 4-1 and no cat. His car is louder than mine in terms of it being higher pitch compared to the deeper sound from mine. I like both exhausts but the invidia was a cheaper deal for me so I went with that one.

screw the LEVELS of sound,

the tone and just allaround quality of the invidia catback is to die for.
heres a video

i've listened to and driven cars with the N1,
its definetely not a bad sounding exhaust, not amazing either tho really..
