I'm a new S owner:)
I picked up a 2001 today, silver, for $22K with 42K miles. It has the front lip, CD changer, boot, alarm, and side moldings, so I think the price is alright. I was thinking about $21K for a base one, so this worked out. I was able to get an extended powertrain warranty that covers the tranny and differential for some piece of mind.
On the way home, a guy in a Chevy truck wanted to race. I don't do that, but I humored him to 60...nonetheless he was beaten by many lengths. the first time he said I was cheating because I didn't do it off the line...so I did it again without even abusing the clutch and same story. Then another lady says "thats a honda? It's beautiful. Looks like a BMW...but better" EXACT quote.

hehe, I am.
I'm a former GSR with comptech/koni suspension owner, and I thought that was stiff. Stock, the S is even stiffer! I think the GSR wins out in grip because the car has Potenza 930s (9 something) which are not as good as the 730's I had on the GSR.
Is the rear plastic replaceable without taking the top off? I notice a zipper and velcro.

hopefully ill be going in the same route. I think im getting a bit old for the integra scene. seems like the s2k has a different age bracket.
yea, it's a good jump.
The Integra Type R was a small jump. I've driven them several times and my GSR could match them in handling, with the exception of the LSD. The S2000 is just much firmer, and faster. It's the RWD with LSD that I wanted.
