when i turn the key, the car sounds like it will turn over but never does. i have to wait a try another tim (can take from 3 - 10 tries). I've done nothing to the car so everything should work fine. Also the car will randomly die. One instance is when i was merging at a jug-handle and i press the gas and then it just shut off. The shutting off part has only happened twice. But the not starting has become more frequent. The ecu is throwing a code 16 but there is no check engine light.
anyone know whats the problem?

Code 16 - Fuel Injector

Code 16 is probably the Main Relay, however it could still mean a bad Injector, Resistor Box tho.
Most failures occur, when the weather starts heating-up for the summer...


If the car refuses to start, but "turns over" on a hot day, try opening the doors/windows, and let the interior cool down. "Then try starting again". May not work all the time, but worth a try anyway. Also, would help in troubleshooting the prob, if it does start. Another place to look is the ECT sensor, refer to the above
