i have seen crx's and hatchbacks with solid center consel and radio peices, like a complete center consule and no space between where the shifter is and the radio is i was just wondring where i could get this, is it stock in some crx's or si hatchbacks??

 

yeah,
this was an optional piece from the factory.. you could either get the piece with the big pocket, or with an equalizer/small pocket. My SE hatch came with the one with a big pocket, which is nice to have, but I switched to an integra console for the armrest and cupholders.

Some dealers can still get this piece, and its on ebay quite often too.

 

allso you can get a center consol from a 94 up integra, that is what i did, I did it b/c of the cup holders and arm rest.

 

will the intengra consel fit right in or are mods needed???????????

 

search for "console" in the crx/ef civic forum, theres tons of into on putting an integra console into a hatch..
Theres not too much modification to be done, you just basically have to drill 1 hole.. I have on in my hatch and I love it, wasnt hard to do at all.
