yoshi, do u know of any japanese video rental store in torrance or little tokyo that carries option, hyperrev etc etc.?

 

most mitsuwa bookstores carry them..

 

get on 405, exit western.. make a right on western.. keep going down.. on your right hand side you will have a big market.. yaohan (i bet i spelled this incorrectly) anyhow.. pull in there and go to the bookstore in there.. they have a bunch of them.. last time i went there i bought the two last ones for ITR.. cost was like 35 each.

 

the stores in torrance usually sells out w/in 3 days of getting a shipment - juju, I wonder who buys it all?

There is another store inside the Mitsuwa in Costa Mesa. They have the pretty wide collection of Option, BM, BM Specials, Hot Virgins er, uh I mean Hot Version etc.

405 S -> exit Bristol and turn right -> turn left at the bottom of the hill where Chevron is (it's either Bear St or Paulorino) -> turn into the 1st light and you're at Mitsuwa

yoshi - who also picked up the March issue of BM vdo for $5!! I think this one is the best out of all the ones I have but I won't go into here b/c it was nothing to do w/ ITRs

 

youre talking about Asahiya bookstore? I go there all the time to look at the cool pics and eat ice cream next door. Great store, lots of comic **** in back but i'm just looking to rent. dont have the $$ to buy =/

there's a place in J-town called J Wave that rents out alot of vdo and cd's. Give them a try.

Best thing about Mitsuwa is not the Asahiya bookstore; the bakery rocks!

 

there's a Yaohan/Mitsuwa here in NJ, but they don't carry any of that stuff...i have to double check now
