Blending touch up paint on plastic bumpers?
Hey guys,
I'm working on some scratches on the rear bumper. I have my multiple thin layers of touch up paint on. Now I need to blend the areas into the bumper. I bought a super fine 3M sanding sponge. I've tried this method before, but had trouble getting rid of the roughed up look around the plastic. What do I use to bring the luster back and to smoothe it into the rest of the bumper. I've heard 3M imperial hand glaze...is this the ticket? Thanks guys.

another question, any of you guys know how to flatten out large scratches on bumpers? im trying to figure out a way to make my bumper kinda smooth after someone decided to get a flathead and dig the chit out of it to get my emblem..heh
Goch,
Can't help you man, sorry.
Black R,
Thanks man...I've seen that a bunch of times. My main question is the difference in technique between plastic and metal. I usually get the metal ones looking really good, but I have trouble with the plastic. I think my problem is the sanding pad though. I gotta find a meguir's 2000 grit...what I'm using is too gritty.
