Default Polyurathane Motor Mount Question

I broke my front engine mount. Can I just shell out the $36 shipped for the inserts ? would that fix the broken mount? its not totally ripped out, just ripped a bit. I planned on gettin the inserts anyways, but didnt know if I had to replace the mount first.

My font mount was almost completely broken and the rear was torn a bit...Enregy Suspension came to the rescue, and now that ****** is solid as can be.
