you take a wiper from a prelude and you remove both wipers. then you put the prelude wiper in place of the drivers side or passengers side wiper. I'm not sure which one though. I think that's right.

The main problem is the wiper only goes so far, so you need to adjust it so you can actually wipe the driver side of the glass. And because of that, the wiper will sit like this when not in use.

And don't dare call me a n00b.

You're gunna regret doing it within 3 months. You're gunna look at it and just think to yourself, "Man that's gay."

I tried it once when I was repainting the wiper arms, had em off anyway..It was..Well, pretty dumb if you ask me. I'd hate to be driving with my wipers half way up the windshield on the passenger side all the time, much less be a passenger with the wiper there..

the reason you haven't found anyone on this board thats done it is because its F&$@(&# stupid. it will reduce the amount of visible windsheild when raining and when your window is dirty. don't be an idiot....don't do it. people will laugh at you and your Powered by Yellow decals.

I'm happy with 2 wipers because 2 works WAY better than one and they don't sit on my windshield in my line of sight making me looking like a 16 year old ricer who wishes we was in europe in another life driving a Mclaren F1.

You will never have a Mclaren F1... EVER... so leave both wipers where they are and save some dignitiy while you still can.

<-advice from a guy who made these mistakes when he was 16.

I know it's UN-American to learn from other's mistakes but trust me. You'll want to go back to 2 wipers when everyone is pointing and laughing... if you drive by anyone on H-T, we will all be pointing and laughing.

I have single wipers on 3 of my cars. It's my style. Why would I give a **** if other people don't like it? If you have any mechanical ability you can extend the sweep so it covers the whole windshield and parks out of the way.

If I laugh at you having two wipers, would you care what I thought? Didn't think so.

Of course I wouldn't care.. because 2 is more functional then 1. But 1 is less funtional then 2. When people have their own "style" that means they DO give a fvck what other people think.. Don't lie to yourself man.

VW's aren't imports now? I have a bonrath kit on my MKII GTI.

When ppl have their own style they don't give a **** what other ppl think. You have it *** backwards chief. If I wanted other ppl's approval I'd make my car look like 99% of the cars on this site.

ok "chief".. have fun driving around with your uni-wiper and your "style", I'm sure you'll make plenty of friends at the local high school.

btw: I just looked at pictures of your car and your wiper isn't "parked out of the way"... it's still resting in the middle of the window on the passenger side. How is resting up on the damn windshield "out of the way"... Do your passengers sit in your car and say, "wow, look at this One really cool wiper, it's just like I'm sitting in a Mclaren F1!".... Or do you even have passengers ride in your car (to and from car shows)?

I haven't gotten around to extending the linkage on my Civic. I barely have time for that POS. Here are some of my other cars.

Are those parked in the line of sight kid?

It is parked in my line of sight
