New toy: Canon G5
Hey guys, I just got this about an hour ago. I'd like to thank anyone who helped me with questions I had! This is a pretty big step from the Canon S230 I was previously using, not a bad digi cam ... but its time to step up to something with more features. My car isn't worth photographing ... but between my friends dad & uncle - I promise you'll be seeing some exotic cars when I learn how to use this camera to its full potential!

Thanks everyone!
I paid $470 for it, I looked around and because they're discontinuing it - most places didn't even have it. So I couldn't be picky, but nonetheless its better than the $599 Best Buy was selling it for a few months ago

ppfft, Do you have any idea how many kodak fun savers you could of bought!? J/K You should at least go downtown and take some pics of the skyline @ night.

Nice... where at? I picked up my G3 last summer for about the same price... they were on clearance as well.

Hey dudes, I've been at work all day yesterday so I haven't been able to take it outside yet ... but here's a little sample I did just so I can show ya something:
