motherf***er, i got the wrong engine, what should, could i do
jesus christ guys, don't laugh, this sucks ***. i've got an 89 hf, and whenme and my bro went to ook at the engine, i could have sworn it said b16a1. i know it did. goddamnit. i just went to look at it in my buddy's garage, and i cleaned off the area, and it says d16a1. so its still a dohc compared to my sohc that came with my crx. what should i do???? i got it from a junkyard, so getting the 425 i spent is out of the question. should i try to sell it on e-bay, or can i actually get some hp from this thing. this totally sucks. its my own fault though. geez, this is shitty. guys, help me out here, what can i do???
That is a dual cam out of an 86-89 Integra. That won't even bolt in your car easily. It's not worth it IMO. You can't take it back? You don't know what a B16 looks like?
ummmm, hopefully you didn't pay that much for it. try selling it back or getting a refund. i dunno what else to say?
man, i'm new to this stuff, and there's no one to help me out. i know what the b16 looks like, but i thought there was a non vtec, and thats what i though i was getting

sorry to hear that bro, dont sweat it...i would clean it up the best i could make it look good and sell it,while your trying to sell it you could do some research on what you really want..im sure theres someone somewhere that will buy it,start off high and work your way down...good luck
yeah, i guess thats what i'm gonna have to do. man, this really sucks. i thought i did all my homework, but i failed real bad. i got a hard on and bought it fast cause i thought it was what i wanted, and let it sit in a garage till i was ready for the swap. good thing i didn't start buying header and intake for it.
the first gen crx/3rd gen civic crowd uses these engines, but not for 425 bucks...
try and return it...
