major problem or fixable?
recently my '92 accord has started having what i think maybe i transmission problem....it doesnt do it consistently enough to take it to have it looked at but sometimes it seems like no matter how hard i floor it the rpms wont go over 3000 and my acceleration is next to nothing even if the peddle is to the floor....but it only does it once in a while....idk what to do..or what the problem might be...if you have any ideas on what it is or how to fix it let me know?

i agree... but safe mode from time to time? that sounds fishy to me. you might want to ask a honda dealership about it and see what is up with ur ecu

auto or manny?
w/e u wanna call it, it would definantly throw a CEL, in fact, you should feel like jim lovel.........if its not throwin codes, but wont rev over 3000, thats kinda weird.....will it hit 3000 and stick there, or hit 3000 and drop?
