Can anyone tell if this is a real volk wheel. It might be hard but just give it a shot.

You can tell by the lugnuts if it's real or not..right? I remember seeing a set of te37 copies, and I could tell only because the lugnuts seemed to stick out more than usual..but Im sure there are copies out there that look real?..

I cannot tell if those are real or not..

i can barely see volk imprinted in the wheel in the bottom right area...i would say it is.

 

if this is the pic the guys sends when he wants to sell them... I wouldnt buy him cant even give you a decent pic but can afford volks.

 

well hard to tell . he could have gotten stickers and placed them on there

i once considered buying used rims before but after the horror story my friend told me, i think i'll stay away from buying used rims.

ohh, the story? well, he bought a used set of rims w/o tires, when he went to get tires mounted and balanced on the rims, the guy said the rims were bent. you might not be able to tell it's bent but the machine won't lie, it ended up costing him like $200 just to mount and balance the wheels correctly to the bent rims.

 

To me, those do look like real TE-37's. On my bro's AV3's they had the silver Volk stickers (one's with a bunch of Japanese) inside the lip just like that picture shows. Cheap knockoffs I've seen don't come with those...but you definitely need a MUCH better picture before you buy.

 

Maybe this is super-obvious to everybody already, or maybe you've already done a 5-lug conversion so you're not worried about it, but that looks like a 5-lug wheel to me. So even if they are real and you do get them for a great price, you don't want to be stuck with a wheel that doesn't fit!

They're real and it'sa 5 lug.

 

and if i remember correctly, he has the itr 5 lug on his GSR..so these wheels would fit. And they look genuine to me..

 

You'd think though too if he was selling a nice set of Volks, he would have better pictures too. That picture is crap!
