Default european civics rulez

hello!!
i´m from PORTUGAL .
in my country we have 4dr and 3dr civics whit b16a engines from factory the name is HONDA CIVIC VTI..from 1992 to at least 1999..what i mean is tha we have diferent set ups from yours stock b16a engines.the red line is at 8500rpm ant the vtec at 5500rpm whit top speeds at 147mph.
at two nights ago we chiped a stock 3dr civic (b16a engine from factory) and we passed from 147mph top speed to 158mph, whit the red line at 9100rpm and the vtec at 5500rpm...a powerfull incresse in acelaration and top speed!
and all this in a stock engine whit cold air intake.

In some European countries, they sell the Civic VTi-S which comes with a B18C4 (yes, a B18C4) which is similar to the US GSR engine.

Since a US ITR has a top speed of 143mph with an alleged 195 hp, and I doubt the 3door euro Civic has better airodynamics, getting to 158mph would take something in the 225-250 hp range. Must be some chip.

Friends B18C ITR sol did 153mph pacing with a Supra.

And yea, we have the 1.8 VTi's with the B18C4, but there is also a 1.6 VTi with the B16A2.

i have ek vti (u.k).

vti-s is just limited edition vti (b16a2) with just cosmetic changes.

stock ek vti wont go past 135mph and remember that to take speedo inaccuracy into account.

stock 1 defo wont do 147 and goin to those kinda revs aint gonna be good and wont make power anyway as has been said above.

ive got quite a few breathin mods and piggyback chip on mine and top end never increased 1mph

Interesting, since my B16A2 hit 225km/h on the dyno, and just shy of that on the autobahn, which is 140mph.

"In some European countries, they sell the Civic VTi-S which comes with a B18C4 (yes, a B18C4) which is similar to the US GSR engine"

yes that is true we have them in 4dr civic from 96-up

"and i highly doubt you were doing 150mph, since your from another country other than england usually you would be doing KMH, so... "

yes i wrote in mph...in kms +-258kph

"Since a US ITR has a top speed of 143mph with an alleged 195 hp, and I doubt the 3door euro Civic has better airodynamics, getting to 158mph would take something in the 225-250 hp range. Must be some chip."

our cars have diferente set ups from yours, a stock itr in my country out past the stock 260kph....yes that is true

"you say you chiped the ecu and went past the factory redline but the cams dont make power that far and the stock valve train is not dull valve train only itr is so if you were going as far as u say you were you would be getting valve float that is nothing but crap and u lie "

1: red line at 9100
2: valve float ?not at all!!!
3:that is nothing but crap and u lie - what make you a expert? guess what... the car was at that speed and rev at that revs and nothing unusual happens! im not saying to rev that high all the time ..but trust me the engine can and let .

"stock ek vti wont go past 135mph and remember that to take Speedo inaccuracy into account."

another example: my friend have a crx vtec ,from factory it has a b16a1 engine and from factory the car does 240kph and whit just a cold air intake the car does 250kph...and remember the Speedo inaccuracy in Honda’s is low!

"Interesting, since my B16A2 hit 225km/h on the dyno, and just shy of that on the autobahn, which is 140mph."

????on dyno??in the highway the car made 258kph!

"on a falt road it would struggle like mad to get to 140 and like i said speedo are inaccurate"

another two cars were race whit me and all them were at the same speed and belive me the other two weren’t Hondas

another example i know a guy that have a civic type R from 2002 from factory have 200hp, he have ecu chiped + complete exhaust system + cold air intake + i think is a 4-2-1 header and he pass the stock 260kph and hit 280kph at the highway....

note: we use 95/98 and 100 octane fuel, we don’t have lower than that

ps: research in kazaa the video clips:

1º - ItvsHonda (citroen saxo cup eating honda civic)
2º - Pikansos _ctr´s_power (honda civic 4dr type r spec vs s2000 vs CTR vs ITR)
3º -VTIvsCRX ( track day in autodromo do estoril)
4º - vasco da gama 270kmh (that same civic type r that does the 280kmh)
5º - Vasko JV vs Hondas (citroen saxo´s cup vs Hondas)
6º - Vasco da Gama Subaru-Saxo Cup N1 (subaru impresa vs 2 citroen saxo cup)
7º - Vasco da Gama Subaru-Saxo Cup N2

all hondas in the movies are civic VTI ,some races are at the bridge VASCO DA GAMA in Lisbon, it´s a very long highway ïŠ

ep3 ctr - i dont question their speed as i know they can easy do 145mph

as for the vids, seen many on that bridge before and nice they are too.

im still skeptical about top end speed the vti can reach. only real way to increase top end is to stroke the engine

what ta hell is everybody talking about?
there is minor differences between usdm car and everybody elses on the b16....
-p30 pistons and ecu tunning.
-gear ratios are the same...
-NO way a stock b16 will reach 160mph......maybe 140 ''MAYBE''

you guys remember that the stock speedo is inaccurate at high speed
