alright this sucks hardcore. i went out to race and we had spray cans to make our start and finish line. so my friend chucked the can under my seat like a fucko and when my other friend sat in the seat and pushed the seat back it blew up somehow. so i grabbed the can and chucked it out cause i didn't know if it would explode or whatever... anyway... its white spray paint and it is all over my dashboard, glove box, passenger door, center console, and passenger seat. what i wanna know is if there is anything i should use to get it off without fading the color(black) of everything??

Try Acetone, or some sort of paint thinner/remover. you have to be careful tho and make sure you wipe it off asap. otherwise it might eat into your dash. good luck..

yea yea yea i know it was stupid, but i wasn't the one racing i was just the one drawing the lines. my friend has a 1.8t and just got some kinda neuspeed chip that puts his boost up to 15lbs and my tough guy friend (icedout) and his b16 crx wouldn't stop talking ****. so they were all nuts and HAD to race right then. drawing the lines just makes it fun.

so acetone or paint thinner could eat the dash apart?? is there anything that could be done?!?!?!?!

ha, sorry to hear that man, but honestly ... did you have to give a reason why you had a can of spray paint in your car? thats just asking for it!

Oreck (vacuum stores) sells a stain remover that works really well. if you use too many products you can actually stain it further into the fabric etc. They also have a solvant which is basically like acid, it'll take anything out ... but in most cases take out more than you wanted. good luck.

well the whole reason we drew the start and finish line is cause they wanted it to be a 1/4 mile. plus now we always have a spot to race 1/4 mile without paying for the track. it was late at night and no one was on the road anyway so we didn't care. the cops around here couldn't catch a cold. yea i did get karl malowned and sylvester stallowned!! hahahaha ill try to get some pics up sometime i gotta find someone with a digital camera.

will that oreck thing work on my dash, its a cx eg, so the dash isn't like fabric it is like plastic!

also does anyone know if i can even slap a whole new dash on there??? its probably pretty tough though isn't it?
