i just got some white face guages and need to know how to install them is there any website of thread about this. i dont know how to get to the guages.. by the way i have a 89 crx si

 

getting to the gauges is easy, the hood comes off with four black screws. After you get it off you'll have access to the cluster which is held in with more black screws.

THE HARD PART IS TAKING THE NEEDLES OFF WITHOUT DAMAGING THE GAUGES

 

i dont see four screw from the back?

 

theres 2 from the bottom, the 2 near the corner of the cluster and front window, once thats off, theres 2 on each side of the actual cluster, once you have that off, oh** before that, you have to disconnect the plugs for the dimmer and defrost before you can fully take off the plastic cover, after all that you can pull the cluster forward and disconnect the plugs on the back of it and theres a little light to take out, just twist that off. when you go to install the overlays, make sure not to break the needles,and take the little screws off-youll see it, your gonna have to bend the overlays alittle bit to slide them on but its not biggie. if its indiglo guages, itll tell ya how to wire it up, just make sure your ground is good because it wont light up if its not solid ground. then just put it all together. not as hard of job that you tihnk it is, good luck bro

 

if you need visual help... buy a helms manual from PepBoys if you have one of those.

 

I know how to get everything off except the clear plastic over the speedometer

 

it has little clips on it, gotta get those off

 

dude theres no clips on the clear plastic piece... is there a website that shows how
