Default Prelude Engine Swap

Is it possible to swap a 2.2 liter prelude motor into a 94-95 honda civic?

It's only 25 lbs heavier than a B series swap. Don't post if you don't know. And look through the FAQ thread. There is tons of information about it on the first page. The engine is a H22, so look for H22 swap information.

According to a thread on here the block was 2 lbs heavier and the tranny was 23 lbs heavier. Let me find it. Any facts to back up your 31 lb claim? You do realize that 31 lbs is the difference between a 130 lb girl and a 160lb guy friend right?

EDIT: The thread showing 25 lbs.
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=684550

EDIT: We're both wrong! It's 35 lbs total. And it's 23 lbs more on the block.

ok and how much heavier then a d-series? the fact is the civic was built around and suspension designed for the weight of a d-series motor not the b-series that your refering to which is still to general cause there are still 5 different types of b-series motor that all weigh different (though some not by much) . so if your gonna compare motor weight then do it between the d16 and the h22 and then we can talk

According to the same thread I linked to above

H = 123lb short block
B = 104lb short block
D = 100lb short block + oil pan

I don't know how much the D tranny weighs, but it's not a whole helluva lot.
