the how to:

get office chair, unbolt seat and seat back from leg assembly, take some self tapping screws and screw leg assembly directly to seat pan using the mounting holes from the leg assembly

approx. time of construction: 10min

enjoy!

one question....
how balanced is it? I mean I would imagen it tipping back all the time w/out someone sitting on it.

its pretty balanced...I'm sittin in it no problem right now...I even reclined it a fair bit and it still seems stable...I suppose cuz the mounting points are further towards the front of the seat rather than the back

I'd give it a 8.5/10 for stability as of course it dont have the same characteristics as the "stock" chair
