Should I change Oil before I go to track tonight?
I do not have any means of FI but people in this forum respond quicker and are much nicer!
I want to run my car with new cluthc and fly wheel and the oil should be changed soon, but I want to know if I should do it a few hours before I go to track or should I just wait? OR does it not even matter? Thanks

Before every event, I always change my oil and plugs.
People tell me that it's not necessary, but I do it anyways. It can't hurt. I use regular oil (penzoil 10-30), so it does not cost that much.

its always a good idea to do all those little maintenance things before any event. It will yield just slightly better times, and your car might run just a little bit more smoothly as a result.
For instance, in my case, changing the plugs and gapping them to correct specs shaved half a second off my time - it put me in the 13's!

With that kind of trap speed, I should have been in the 13.30's. I had a pretty bad 60' time, also - 2.2 - I think that was the problem. I'm jst not hooking up right in first, then not shifting right to 2nd
