Any difference between Si shocks and non-Si shocks?

Default Any difference between Si shocks and non-Si shocks?

besides the springs,are there any differences?

I would think there is a slight difference due to the heavier engine in the Si.

no.. there is no difference. here are 2 seperate links.. one is to a 93 SI front shock and the other is to a 93 VX front shock.. compare the part numbers:

I have one 99-00 SI shock on my 97 hatch. It's the exact same as the original shocks.

Ahhhh, good way of checking. I thought he was talking about the 99-00 Si, whenever someone says Civic Si that's the one I think about for some reason. lol

Hhehehehe.

Not sure if they are the same or not. Why not do a parts lookup on the 2 and see if the parts numbers are different. I know they make some of them kind of universal with fillers to fit. Thats how the Tokico's are.
