300,000 miles on my d16a6 TODAY WOOHOO
I knew she would make it
Now lets shoot for another 100,000- let's see, at about 2,400 per month, that would take about another 3.5 years.
More stats and some background:
Dyno'd last September with 119hp/109tq at the wheels
still getting nearly 40mpg
1/2 second slower than her peak (14.82@93mph) at ~200,000 miles

I think that's about where my boy is at too, but he might be closer to 290k...
BTW, all those miles were driven by me (I had it since new).

Check out my Garage for some pics of "Old Yella"- she's the CRX that has Lulu's motor (my original owned since new CRX).
Unfortunately, no pics of the odometer at 300,000+ miles- I should have swapped in my odometer when I swapped the motor in. The odometer read 282,218 miles when I pulled the motor out and put it in the new CRX when the odometer read 189,000+ miles. Now it's at 218,300+ miles, which is the difference to make 300,000!!!
Too bad the tranny is about to go out (collapsed the spider gear from too much power). As a matter of fact that motor is about to break my 2nd tranny, I can hear weird noises
Bittersweet if you ask me.

I don't stick to any brand of oil, just whatever is on sale or I win (from Infineon Raceway Wednesday nights- Kendall GT1). I don't think it really matters, because I change my oil about every 6 weeks. And I use Fram oil filters.

Finally some proof that Fram filters won't absolutely destroy a motor like the H-T bandwagoners seem to think.
