How Do Shops Make Sure A Cars Clean Before Paint?
Before a car is going into the paint booth, how do they know that the car is spotless
?
Do they go over it with something right before it is painted because anything on the car would cause little inperfections right?
Just asking because I was going to rattle can some primer then block sand with 600 grit

If its a decent shop they will clean the car with a solvent to get rid of any oils from fingerprints etc. They should also use an air hose, and blowout any dust from the doorjams, openings, etc.

yeah, they'll use a tack cloth right before shooting.
And before that, some grease and wax remover
