Anyone running piaa head lights?
I am thinking of switching over to Piaa for my head light bulbs. I am looking for something brighter and better for night driving. Oh, and something nonblue or purple. If you are running the Piaa's how do you like them and what model of Piaa do you use?
Thanks

by far the BEST headlight bulbs out there....super white HID brightness NO RICEY BLUE COLOR. but then 1/2 a year after, one broke, probaably because I hit a hard bump in the road....LOL....I still have both of them in my cabinet i want to buy another pair, but thats hard to do when you have NO JOB....
anyways, get them if you can, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED!

I had the PIAA bulb, and it only lasted for 3 months and one burned out. If you want better lighting I suggest you go with real hids.

Osram Silverstars or Sylavnia Silverstars? The Sylvania ones are different. The Osrams aren't DOT legal here, so they're hard to find.

PIAAs blow....literally - usually 6 months or less, some manage to stretch it to a year. But pretty much most aftermarket bulbs that burn brighter and/or whiter run hotter than a typical OEM bulb and will burn out faster. Of course, YMMV. Personally, I'd save up and get HIDs instead.
every single aftermarket light i've gone with on my dc5 has blown wihin six months. most come with warranties but it sucks *** having to change the focker out every time one blows. imo i would save and get some hids. i did and there is no comparison to hids. if i was to ever get another car it would either a) come with hids or b) i would put on an aftermarket kit.

for some reason those lights work well on b-series cars. from what i've read the k-series have volt spikes which can cause the bulbs to blow.
