Default d16z6 turbo vs b16/18

Ok, i have a 92 hatch, and need a swap. Was thinking about getting a z6, and then going with a custom turbo set-up a little later, like a small td04. Or should i just save up and buy a b16, or b18b..I dont need a street monster, because i am more into autox, and the balance of the car...So overall cost vs performance...

I hate u^(that link will log you out)

d16 Turbo will be fast but leave more to be desired trust me...the b16 and b18 are better platforms but were just too much money for me to spend to justify, there is alot of debate on this and a search would get you like 1000's of results.

Or you could just report the post and not be a dick. If I were a moderator I would have banned you and kicked your *** all the way to superhonda already.

even tho his car is almost strictly race a regular eg with a z6 & boost will still be great
the greddy kit is awsome for a nice street car fun all the time
i had 2 different eg's both with the same z6 & greddy kit but,rip to one and the other was sold and now am building another
i am selling my 96ek with a b18c1 swap, and have done many b series swaps but a dual with I/H/E is gonna be about the same as a z6 boosted on like 5lbs,in the 1/4 but freeway dual will pull all hands down, around town z6 w/ boost way more fun than the wicked vtec pull of a dual cam. but, if u have a z6 turbo theres always parts around for cheap. well im droping in my z6 with the greddy kit
tonite so ill let u know how it goes, and goin to the track in less than a week so ill see how i run i think ima go 7lbs

btw (JFK78) is my brother
were goin to the track soon, were both goin stock block z6's on greddy kits, his fully gutted, im still keepin my car streetable
hope this helps just my 2 pennies

my vote is the turbo d-series! thats the route im going with. For now a d16z6 with a t25 turbo set up. Cant wait to get it in!!! Parts a cheaper and easier to come by plus for the same price of a swap you can have a faster d. screw vtec BOoOst
