Anyone tried no radiator??
Anyone on here have any personal expierences running a meth car with no radiator. I have a hard time even getting the car to temp for a run, and thought this might be an option.

Why? I know of an all motor car from NJ that runs on gas and doesnt use a radiator, The car is only running for a whopping 20 seconds at a time..

I would feel much safer running no radiator w/ meth than no radiator w/ gas, since meth has teh cooling charictoristics gas dosn't

BEcause mostly everyone knows that meth has a better cooling effect., but that doesnt mean that there are mother**ckers out there that dont use gas + no radiator
I haven't ran a radiator for over 2 years. No problems. Darrell fills our blocks with Hard-Bloc which actually helps dissipate some of the heat. We run methanol now, but ran it this way on gas also.

I know Darrell *** from along time ago and I know that he used to fill the block up make it solid and then just run coolant through the head of the car. He did that on Brent Rau's engine and he did that on his old setup on the green Neon that he used to run.
no radiator is fine but you must run a catch can because there will be pressure created by the water or coolant or evian waterless coolant from the heat if you are going to dyno or during the run alway's let out pressure after the run.

Thanks for all the responses from everyone.
How do you plumb in a catch can on a radiatorless system?

use a regulator with guage and set it for like 30psi and if you reach that pressure it would let the pressure out into the can place a small hole on the very top of can but on the side away from the hose going to the can.
