Default Camber Kits, need some experienced advice

So the accord has some pretty bad negative camber in the front (-2.0) and I've decided that this needs to stop...I bought tires about 10k ago and the inner tire wear is getting noticeable. That and my ball joint is starting to act up (I hear clicks on some bumps).

I searched throughout the forum and it seems like people hail the Ingalls camber kit as one of the best. What I'm wondering is, there are different types of camber kits...There are the "pivot mounts" which go on the end of the U on the lower wishbone, and there are the "ball joint" type that go on the apex of the U of the wishbone. It seems like pivot mounts give more adjustability...

What i'm not sure is:
1) Which one is better? pivot mount vs. ball joint
2) Does the Ball Joint mount replace the actual "Ball joint"?

Lastly, which brand should I go for and how much is a decent price? I've seen them range from $80 to $160 per pair!

Some pictures I found of the 2 types of camber kits:

Pivot Mount (the yellow pieces on the 2 ends of wishbone):

Ball Joint Mount (the single black piece at apex of U):

ive tried both and the results are that they either
(A: bang the living **** out of the body at the peak of the "U"

and

(B: bang the living **** out of the body where the bolt is on the "U"

At what point in lowering do you need to add a camber kit? I thought I had read once that you can go down about 1.5" from stock before needing the camber kits. Any truth to this?

Yes you can lower up to about 1.5" without the need of a camber kit because a little bit of camber is not bad but it will still wear the inner edge of the tire faster.

imo you should always get an allignment after lowering your car to check if you need the kit or not...my front camber is -.8 on the left and -1.6 on the right..so even though the camber isn't bad it's still not even..I want -1.5 on both sides so i'll still need a kit as well..i'm lowered only 1.75 too

Is that measured with your weight in the car?

I had the same problem with it banging under the wheel well, so what i did was i cut some of the material away under the wheel well, then pounded it to push up the metal. havent had a problem since, probably voided chassis warranty but didt hurt car at all, i just added a strut bar by neuspeed. I have a 2000 accord v6 coupe. and i have my car dropped more than 2 inches for sure.
