Hoosier Drag Slicks???
Personally I like M&H and Good Year, that's all we use. With ~500whp I would go with M&H 25x8.7x13's. We have Good Year 26x10x15's on Duc's car now and I love them. Not too much experience with Hoosier tho.
9111: how come you say that??? give me some problems you guys have had.
and about 25x8.7x13... we are using those and they aren't doing much good. too much slipping!!! we are at about 533whp.

I have much more power than that. Here is what I have tried and my results:
MT 24.5x8x13......just like street tires (spins like crazy down the track)
MT 26x8.5x15......Still spins too much (MT compound is not good for me)
Then talked with John @ M&H and because their compound is so much softer, it will grab better on the track. So I now have a set 25x8.7x13 just got them the other day so I will head to the track next week and see what happens.

I was running 24.5x9x13 Hoosiers and I loved them. I was only putting down about 300-325hp and was pulling 1.6-1.7 60's all day. I also have one frined that is using the same slick with 425hp in a 16valve GTI and he is running 1.5 60's.
so i guess i'll try hoosiers.. we do have m&h too, but i'll give the m&h 25x8.7x13 a try and at the same time change over to the 26x9x15 hoosiers.. i'll update the difference........
