need help - HID "bulb" is out
I just bought an Integra yesterday and driving it for the first time at night tonight, I noticed that the "bulb" is out in the circled area. I have never had a car w/ HID before and not sure exactly how HID works. Anyway, curious as to what might be the problem, and how/where/how much to get it fixed. Also, is it even worth having these HID? Seems like they are so bright (not to mention illegal), it would be asking for a cop to pull me over. In conclusion, if I decided to remove the HID system, would I just put the standard 9006 and 9007 bulbs in place? If so, which bulbs would I place where? Thanks for the help, it is greatly appreciated (sorry for double posting)

depends on following:
1) there OEM HID headlights, that use ballasts, etc. made for HID. if you have these, you are best to trade with someone who has a regular set of jdm headlights.
you would not be able to just unplug the system and remove and replace with a regular halogen.
2) if they are non-HID headlights, then simply remove the kit and plug in 9006 bulbs.
you can tell the non-HID headlights apart as they have horizontal lines running thru the projector area (the area you circled).

i am 99.8% positive they are real HID's (possibly an aftermarket conversion). i don't think there are any horizontal lines. what would be "bad" that would cause the light not to show? bad ballast, etc.? how much are these to fix/replace? thanks
also, why would i need to replace the headlights too?

Take the bulb out of the good side and put it into the bad side. If it lights up, then your HID bulb is busted, if not, then its probably your ballast.
also, if i switched back and just got a good pair of reg halogens (like syvania silverstar or similar), how much would anyone recommend i sell the 1/2 working HID's for (on ebay)?

also, what kind of light is suppose to be emitted from the spot circled below. i see some sort of bulb inside, but i turn on every damn light and it never comes on
those are the foglights... if u cant find the swich or the factory wiring, then i got an alternative... i jsut used a sepreate relay and harness (from my old piaa fogs, but u can get a similar set from autozone)... It works independtly of the headlights... i think the jdm fogs were on only when the main beams are on... but in my case, i can turn on the fogs anytime i have the key in the "on" position...
also, is the circular light (the one that's out) suppose to be on all the time? they come on when i turn on the low beams, even though they are much bright than the high beams
OMG wtf - i just went out to look today, and now both low beams are working fine, but the driver's side high beam is out (when both were working last night) - weird

go check your wiring, check fuses, etc. The HID bulb working again doesn't really surprise me that much though.
Also if you really have HIDs (and not HID "look" bulbs) then you'll need to buy replacement rebased bulbs. if you have authentic HIDs (which doesn't seem to be the case based on the horizontal lines) then you'd need a D2S bulb.
If they are just HID look bulbs then you can buy any halogen. Perhaps take the bulb out and take a pic of that, we can then help you more for future reference anyways. Also, the real ones will have a clip/bulb holder design instead of a twist in design (well every OEM HID i've ever seen has anyways)

apparently you can not read.

they are non-HID headlight housings (horizontal lines all the way across) with an aftermaket HID kit (definitely HID's though, I can see the ballasts)
i'd first check your wireing out
i had the same problem before with one bulb lighting up and the other off.
check your ground to make sure it's grounded properly, then check the wires that wires up to your stock harness....
thats where i found my problem...the wire was all corroded so i sniped it off and rewired it and taped it back up good..it works perfect now..
good luck
