So i went with a 70 wet shot.........
Well last week I made a post inquireing about NOS, and I bought a system and had it installed 3 days ago. Im currentlt running a 180 shot because the kit is off of a reinforced 5.0
ha ha. But i orderd "54" and "70" injectors. I was thinking of keeping the 54 on untill i go to the track. When i am at the track I want to run the 70. I have an upgraded fuel rail and that about it... will my motor handle a 70 shot with no damage???
thank you
one last thing.... What do you think a b16a1 w/ a 70 shot of NOS in a 4th gen will run me for times?

i would not run a 70 shot it might do well at first but it will damage your engine in the long run 55-60 would be the max, unless your engine is built strong
70 should be fine. I believe you'll want to retard the ignition a bit and run a step colder plugs to be on the safe side.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

i run a 75 wet shot on a stock zc (and i mean stock, no i/h or e) and it's fine. b series are a lot stronger than a zc
just go with the colder plugs and some decent plug wires

see this is what sucks about making a post like this, lol, Half the people say go for it, half say to risky.... its a hard choice, i DONT want to blow my engine...i need a solid answer, thanks for trying tho.....

I run a 65 shot DRY on my sohc zc, held up fine for the 2 bottles Ive run with it.
Only fuel management I upgraded was a pg7 ecu so it runs me a little richer and a higher rpm
I was going to do a 75 shot just cause I dont mind if I blow the motor cause I want to go h22, but 65 is a sick kick in the pants

Not trying to be a dick but... DONT RUN A 75 SHOT IF YOU DONT WANT TO BLOW YOU SH*T UP! Be safe run a 50 or less, if you dont have the cash to buy a new motor than keep it low! I traded my No2 kit because i knew i couldnt control myself!
I had a DRY 70 shot on my old crx with b16 and that thing was an ANIMAL!!! However you want to do all the precautions. Colder plugs, retard timing, FPR, higher octane, etc....Dont listen to the hype, as long as you prepare for it, you should be fine. Besides a wet shot tends to be a bit safer. Oh yeah and dont go bouncin' off the rev limiter while sprayin also
if all conditions click, what will 1/4 times look like for a b16 on nos w/ intake and exhaust ...upgraded fuel regulator...
dude your a retard "70 shot on stock internals higly risky" talk like a ***** haha i used to run a 100 shot direct on a bone stock gsr in an EG took it fine and if you even felt a 70 shot it's not even harsh. Also raced a crx with a b16 bolt ons,80 shot wet was pretty fast.
The faster you try to make your engine go, the faster it will wear out. If you don't want to replace your motor in the near future, run 50 + / -
The more times you inject n20 into your engine, it only lessens it's life that much more. The choice is yours and yours alone.

If he added 70hp with a turbo nobody would care.
Nitrous got a bad rep a long time ago that people still throw around.
HP is HP. Look around and see what people are making with a turbo and stock guts.
Colder plugs, as high of octane you can find and retard the timing a few ticks.
Just like a turbo or blower

Ok guys if you haven't done nitrous don't say "oh it will blow" cause you don't know. I've run nitrous for 3 years. 2 of those were on a stock b16. Dry kit and 75 shot. Stock injectors, stock fuel pump, colder plugs and a "mugen" ecu that advanced timing.
Hehe now last year i ran a high compression b18b and managed to make it last for 2 full gears of a 200 shot on a stock fuel system.
