Why are the damn doors on the RSX-S such a pain in the ***???? You damn near have to Nail em' shut to get them to close fully!!! Anyone know???

 

I don't have an RSX but I'm guessing it's due to air pressure. Do you have the same problem when any of windows in the car are open when you shut the door?

 

I haven't tried it with the windows open. But it's really annoying! I gotta try that. HMMMMMMM>>>>>> Very interesting... You should get an RSX, they are pretty tite!

 

Don't want to tell you how to suck eggs, but as well as the air pressure mentioned in previous posts, if this is the first new Honda you have owned, generally they require a fair slam to shut the doors until the seals have softened up a bit...you'll be glad when it's got a few miles on it and it doesn't have air/dust leaks!

 

Tell me how to suck eggs as I don't understand the expression.

 

LOL. The full expression is "don't teach your grandmother how to suck eggs". I have no idea of the origin, but it means don't tell people how to do something they are well-versed in. So apparently all grandmothers are egg-sucking experts, go figure! Maybe it's an Australian thing. So I just meant that I hope in not stating the obvious, but the door seals on new cars are usually tight to start with.

This is my third honda and I've never had problems.... About the whole sucking egg thing.... HHHMMMM, well, i don't wanna know.
