gas fumes on cold start
about one week after taking delivery of new accord started getting unburnt gasoline fumes in car on first startup of day. Dealer says it has something to do with 'computer' needing to break in. Not happy with that answer.

I've bought 6 of my last 7 cars brand new & I've NEVER heard that story before... Including an '03 Accord.
Look for leaks, but also make a point to NOT fill the gas tank completely. The EVAP system probably doesn't like liquid getting in the vent lines.

*I would give it a little time before taking it back in. I've had this complaint a couple of times and it turned out to mainly happen on days where the air was still in the morning and they had the blower on high right at start up. The only one I've seen that was actually something wrong was a missing oil fill cap. Most other times it is fumes being sucked back into the car by the heating system.
Let me help you out when your engine is cold your automatic choke comes on and your car runs Rich until it warms up so what your smellin is normal unburnt fuel
