IMO, this board is just completely useless when it comes to selling anything. Here's why:

1 - The thread "Were you Scammed? Please post the Seller and situation info here..." https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=161168 is 39 pages and contains over 1100 posts. That should tell you something right there.

2 - The thread "The Giant Honda Tech List of Scammers" is 15 pages and contains over 400 posts. You get the point.

3 - Every time someone contacts me like they are interested, I reply promptly but never hear back from them again. I won't mention names, but you know who you are.

4 - The 3 cars I've tried selling here have received no real leads whatsoever.

5 - What's my point? Maybe it's just my bad luck selling stuff here, but if I were me, and I am, I wouldn't waste any more time trying to sell crap here. And based on 1 & 2, I wouldn't if I were you, either.

 

Damn, besides the blatant lowballers, I've only had positive experiences buying/selling on HT. I think it pays to deal with people that have vouches.

The only thing i could complain about is how fast the threads move down the pages due to the high traffic

stop being a bitch and if you have such an issue with honda-tech.com you could've easily not wasted your time and not put up a thread like this. If you dont like this board then dont post here. Its that simple.

 

The only thing that bugs me about HT sellers, is some of them have HORRIBLE contact. You know who you are. Some take days, weeks to answer PM's or emails.

But over all, H-T Classifieds is better than most places to buy parts. Just make sure someone has plenty of vouches if you are unsure about buying from them.

I didn't say I had a problem w/ H-T in general, just SELLING things on HT.

I'll also refer you to point 5, "...And based on 1 & 2, I wouldn't if I were you, either." Maybe this should be #1.

 

did you ever possibly think that maybe the stuff your selling is not highly desireable?

 

Obviously you have alot of extra time to waste.

 

I have sold a lot of stuff on HT and bought a few here and there. The most expensive thing I have purchased non-local on HT was $100 and from a known member.
