to stroke or not to stoke
i've searched this topic and have found a lot of info, but just want to hear what some of you guys would do. i'm building an ls vtec all street motor.
-b18a block
-sir full skunk head
i would also like to build up the bottom end. what would be the benifits of a large bore or a bigger stroke horsepower and reliability wise. something like a 85mm bore and 95mm stroke. would it be better to just go with a big bore.

My new engine is 85X95. I will not be driving it on the street on a regular basis due to the compression.
If I were you, for a daily driven engine, I would just bore it to 85 and go from there. You can still get some great numbers with the 89mm crank!

i am running or was street driven 11:8:1 84mm by 95mm
and it pulled nicely for a sleeper u know
so I would resleeve first and then bore the **** but keep it under 12:5 the most if u want to stay on 93 octane
