Check Engine Light P0420 on a 98 Accord 4 cyl.
Hey everyone! I just got my first Check Engine Light today at 119,347 Miles. Autozone gave me the code but not much else. I searched the net for the Code and found the code is for a Catalyst system efficiency below threshold. Does this mean I need a new O2 Sensor?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I would only replace the o2 sensor if I couldn't get it out of the old cat.

Same thing at my shop.

Thanks for the tips guys... What would be the cons of not replacing the cat other than the car not running as clean as it should?
