Default Ideal Compression?

Is there anywhere that states the ideal compression for cams? Like S2S2 - 11:7.1 etc?

The bigger the motor and the lower R/S for will allow you to run more aggressive cams on lower compression.

So 11.7 on a 1.6L B16 is not going to like as big of a cam as a 2.0L LSVTEC.

Motors under 10.5 compression don't like much cam from what I've seen.
