I just got a B16b from passwordjdm and I swear the motor must have like 15,000 miles on it looks like new and Leo even threw in some jdm eg headlights. Password gets a thumbs up from me and for anybody that asks why i didn't go b18c5 the reason was that they didn't have any in stock plus the price I paid for the b16b was too goood to pass up. Trust me Leo hooks it up.

Because not alot of people know what that means in this forum, thats why i gave them that one time freebee but im not gonna type that **** out anymore, to damn long.

how long did it take for you to get the stuff shipped to you from when you ordered it?

 

I would have waited for a ITR motor i made the same mistake running a b16b. The b16b is overrated and is mostly about bragging rights.

Do you know what the word "hypocritical" means? Or was it simply a feeble attempt at sounding intelligent?

Hypocrisy would be if I were to buy a b16b, rave about it, and then tell some other guy is he is an idiot for buying one.

For the record, I do not have a b16b, nor would I ever consider purchasing one. I'd rather go faster for cheaper, sue me.

Actually I was gonna get the 180hp sir-g motor but its was the same price as the ctr motor shipped so I took the ctr motor. THey shipped it out last thursday and it reached fl on monday and was at my front door on tuesday. I already had a b16 stock was happy then went boosted b16 all I needed was a mototr to get my car on the road but still make me happpy at the same time. I didn't get it because of a jdm bug it was just basic more bang for the buck. I bet if somebody offered you a gsr motorswap and a ctr motor swap both same price but one doesn't have lsd and is basiclly stock what would you do. With the parts off my old motor I can make money because I dont have to buy manifolds or valvespring and pistons. Get where I'm coming from but thanks and I'll get the pics up.

Well dont consider buying one I had to get my car on the road and that was the best option available. I didn't have time looking for a 1.8 bottom end, a head, rods and pistons and then find a knowledgeable shop to piece it together and then add in labor. I could care less if there are faster engine out there so what somebody will always be faster and have more money and ***** more girls than any of us. **** the civic si sold like hotcake why dont you tell the owners why didn't they wait for a type r.

I would have taken the GSR motor, more potential in the end. Then again I am slowly building my car up for Honda-Challenge, I'm gonna have to squeeze out all the power I can. I simply don't think a B16B is the best starting point for that. Curpier Motorsports did manage to put down 200hp with theirs, but the guys running 1.8 liter motors are at 210+ with a fair amount more torque.
