help with cel (code 22 and 41)
Here's the story, I replaced my o2 sensor and everything was fine for about a week. I then started noticed that the speedometer was jumping around erratically then finally today my primary o2 sensor got rapped around my inner driver side axle and the wiring got ripped apart. The wiring harness connecting to the engine harness appears to be fine so far but the harness from the o2 sensor tore in half. I replaced the o2 sensor and I'm still getting a code 41 and 22. I also got a code 17 (VSS) but that is sort of fixed. Would a messed up primary o2 cause all these other problems? I'm kinda stumped right now. Any help would be appreciated very much. TIA
code 22 VTEC pressure valve which might got cut off, check to see does vtec kik in
code 41 Primary oxygen sensor heater check to see if the black wire of the o2 sensor is hook up correctly since there are two black one. u might hvae to switch it around cuz its hard to tell from each black o2 sensor wire thats only if u got 4 wires o2 sensor. good luck

41 usually means the o2 isint hooked up right, not that its not functioning...i think
I just got rid of 22...a loose ground from the vtec selaniod will set that off...check your wiring to the seliniod

thank you all for the help, I'll mess with it tomorrow after work and let you all know what the outcome was. Til then if you got any other info, keep it coming!
Alright, I tried switching the wires around and I even tried another OEM o2 sensor and I'm still getting a code 41 (primary o2) 17 (vss) and 22 ( vtec pressure switch). I noticed on the wiring schematic that one of the black o2 sensor wires shared a junction connection with the vss, and the only wiring that got ripped off was the primary o2 sensor wire, nothing else. The o2 extension harness did get a **** load of axle grease on it so i'm thinking that the harness could be bad. Any other ideas?
someone told me that there is a screen in or by the selanoid that will filter out junk and can get cloged from time to time, mabey causing that code and or not letting vtec engage.

yes that is true. only problem is everything was working fine including vtec, up until the point when my o2 sensor wire got torn in half, thats when i pulled up the code 41, 22, and 17, which is still the problem i am having. Thanks for the inputs...keep em coming if you have any (won't be able to work on car tomorrow because of work, so i'll have to figure it out friday).
yeah, i guess because when the o2 sensor got torn, it more than likely grounded some **** out, and sure enough as soon as I looked in the helms manual, it said to check fuse 15, and when I checked, sure enough, it was blown.
