ehhh.. I believe it would be highly possible. whoever said financing was illegal?!

afterall that's a lot of money to "have in your pocket" that you'd be willing to spend in "one payment."

no way, Honda will make a lot more than 24k financing the car through their finance company. You might be able to get them down to 29K

no way the dealer would come down to 24k. i was quoted 29k plus taxes and tags and any options from my honda dealership.

yeah it would be worth it. How close are you to Texas? If you are within a reasonable distance you should check out the Houston area. I'm sure you can find a great S2K in your price range.

i live around 6-8 hrs away from houston

so...what is a good search engine for a used car like this. i use automodive.com but i could not search the location of the car.
how of the price could i get the dealer to lower (im doing single payment could i pay less?)
how much is the cost for shipping?
sorry for asking so many questions, i have no experience about buying a car.

First post here...hello!

As for your $24K...you could find a very nice S2K for that. I just got my used S for $22K TT&L. It's a 2001 Spa Yellow, one owner, garage kept, only had 17,774 miles on her. Had the clutch replaced for the bulletin that Honda has on the clutch assembly, and it's butter.

Good luck in your search...USE AUTOTRADER.com. That is how I found mine...bought it from Maxwell Ford right here in ATX.

Hmm off topic here, but I tried to post under events (Austin Event June 16th/17th) but it stated I didn't have permission? WTF? Oh...and avatars are disabled for me...but I see others with them. What do I need to do as a new member to be able to post and have an avatar? Thanks for any help.

I just got one today, too.

an '01 with 42K, with front lip, side moldings, a boot, and a changer. i figure $21K is what this would go for base, but with the stuff I paid $22K.

Nope..
I paid $21,000 up front in one check. I still got it for $33,000 back in 2001. So no I didnt get a break. Plus the car was still the new kid on the block back then..
