Default Accord Audio Systems

Will a 2002 in dash cd changer work with a 2000 Accord? They advertise that they will on eBay, but I want to make sure before purchase.

I just wanted to make sure that they didn't change harness applications from one year to another. I also want to make sure that my steering wheel control will work with a changer.

Is this the add-on CD changer, or a CD player?

Anyway, if you want to know for sure, go to http://www.handa-accessories.com and add the item to your basket for the '99, then for the '02. See if they are the same part number.

I'm looking at putting in an '02 in dash cd changer/cass/am/fm (all one unit) to replace my single cd which doesn't work. BTW, has anyone else had cd problems with their 98-02 Honda Accords?

Yea I do.

Is yours on a permanent period?

Whenever I try to play a cd, it'll play it if it's perfect. If there's scratches, it skips like a **** (even LIGHT scratches). And God help it if it's CD-R. It literally spits them back out.

I'm pretty sure it will fit. I doubt Honda changed any of the wiring. It should be direct plug-and-play. Before you purchase this, make sure that this eBayer also provides the radio card that comes with the stock radio. You will need to number on the card to enable the radio to work in your car. It's part of the radio's theft security.

Hi,
I have a Honda Accord 2001, and I am having issues with my CD player (6 CD changer in EX model).
After a small accident (not my fault), my CD player doesnt work at all. The insurance company doesnt want to believe that it is because of the accident.

Is there any trend in the CD player in Honda Accords.

Your help will be appreciated.

Regards
Aruneesh
