I actually have to do the same thing. I have been putting it off and my problem is getting increasingly worse. I am waiting for my Haynes manual to come in the mail(ordered a week ago) so that I could use that to guide me, but if its that easy I'll follow your advice. Would the process be the same for a 96 Accord LX?
i know this might sound stupid but when i bleed the clutch how do i do this. haha i have messed around with engines but never with a honda tranny. haha first time for everything right. lol where is the input for the dot3 fluid???? thanks guys you are very helpful

the fluid reservoir should be at the back right of your firewall. pour fresh fluid in, have someone pump clutch 4 times and hold it, open bleeder screw, close bleeder screw. pump 4 times hold, open bleed screw, close bled screw, keep adding fresh fluid until fresh fluid starts comin out of bleeder screw.

what if you trace the line but there's no leakage...but the clutch fluid keeps emptying out? Is there something wrong with the inside of the clutch or something? Would it be easier to just replace the clutch?
replacing the clutch has nothing to do with the fluid level, or loss of fluid. Sounds like you need to bleed the system further.
This process is the same for all hondas with hydro trannies.

what do you mean by bleeding it further because everytime i bleed it...it goes back to normal and about 2 months later, it would be empty again...so there must be some leakage around somewhere...that's my problem...
