OT: Skyline GT-R
Trending Topics
I was under the impression that America's skyline was gonna be a watered down Infinity sedan. either way, the real R34 is much phatter, that one pictured above looks like something that i've thrown up after too much
Fugly.
Hideous looking car compared to the modern one...i like the roof structure thing inside (if it's functional), but that's just too far over the line from the old skylines, which were a great evolution of one another...R32, 33, 34 all have distinct lineage. They should look at how BMW evolves their cars...Still, if the peformance is good, it'll grow on me
i actually think it looks good, and i don't believe that this is what it will look like.
look carefully at the frontal area and you will see the current skyline.
here's a photoshopped pic i found that fills in the blank areas beside the lights.
and the concept's side profile
front interior
rear quater

Is that pic still in the 'concept' stage? Cuz if it is I think it will turn out nicely. I don't like it too much how it looks now.. but I think it's definately got potential. I dig the tailights.
It's a good start.

OMG. PLease save me! That thing is UGLY AS ****. OMG. I would sell it if someone gave it to me and buy an M3 or a REAL skyline. I think the only car compaines that will have decent looking cars in 20 years are BMW and Mercedes. Everyone elses are going for the plastic bubble look
Since we're off topic, has anyone seen the new MG's? They have the integra-like lights in the front, and are decent performers (~7.7 0-60). Too bad we don't get them here
Hmm...since it's a concept - you can't say how the "real" car will look. You're only supposed to look for clues. Remember the first S2000 concept pictures people??
Above the belt line - the greenhouse looks remarkably similar to the old car but with a sharper rake to the windshield and cleaner seams- same for the hood and lamp treatment.
The bumpers don't even come close to US bumper standards - so I wouldn't pay much attention to the front or rear end treatments. It's nice to see they preserved the quad tail light setup though.
I like the wide rear end and flared rear fenders!
I don't like the turbine AVUS-looking rims - too Audi. A car that bad *** needs deep dish rims.

I give the car 2 thumbs up. If you saw this car in person, I guaranty you will be creamin in your undies. If you would just look at the lines on the car, the aggressive stance that it has, the mad fender flares, etc... The designers aren't going to design something that's a piece of ****. I mean, that car was designed like that for a purpose, and I bet you it will be fast as ****!!!! Just my honest to god opinion. Just imagine a Lemans version of the thing!!
