need help ASAP!
I bought some new speedline wheels(15 inch) the other day from UWI and they said that the bolt pattern was 4x100, but i put them on my car (89 crx si) and now the drums are making a rattling noise, and when i push on the brakes it makes a funny noise too. anyone know what this could be?

what?? no need to get the car aligned with new wheels. wheels don't affect the alignment settings since they don't change the geometry of the suspension components.
as for your problem... sounds strange, could you elaborate on the noises? Its hard to tell from what you said exactly what the sound you're hearing is.

i just went outside and was messing with it, and with the e-brake not engaged... the drum moves. like the wheel is not snug against it. could i get spacers or something, or is there no way these wheels will work? thanks for helpin guys
A spacer without lugs on it would place extra load on those wheel studs and could end up causing a catastrophy. You should measure the wheel to find out how far off they are from stock, from there figure how much spacer you need. If you need more than 1/8th inch you should get a more expensive spacer with its own set of threated studs.
Eventually the spacer gets so thick that your studs would need to be longer to even hold the wheel on there safely, this gets into really ghetto modding territory.

[QUOTE=Mudge]You only need to align if the diamter if the tire is greater or lower than your former set.QUOTE]
never heard that before either... where are you getting this info. and if you don't mind... i'd like to know HOW changing the wheel/tire combo will change your alignment settings.
