Can i use a automatic wiring harness on a 5spd?

Default Can i use a automatic wiring harness on a 5spd?

Will it work? Should i be aware of anything? This is going to be in my 92 cx w/ a d15b motor with a p28.

my 5-sp b series swap came with an auto harness. the only thing that didnt plug in was the reverse switch on the tranny. hth if at all

it should work but you may have to steal a few plugs off of the old stock one and piece it together to make it work properly

hmmm...thats what i heard...the auto comes in with a extra plug or so. Did you have any problems?

It should work, I did an auto-to-manual conversion on my Civic running the stock harness.

I did a D16Z6 swap into my (used to be) automatic DX. There were NO extra plugs as per common mistake,.

Everything plugged in fine with no extra things attached.

o? and im assuming you used your stock "auto" dx harness?
