Default NEW TIRES

Im debating on a few tires for my eg hb si lowerd 1.75 inches all around no camber

1. Dunlop fm901's
2. kuhmo ECSTA MX
3. ECSTA Supra

size would be 205/45/16 - I want Z rated preferably, Yet 45 series for a lil smoother ride then a 40 which i have now.

which u think be best for ride + treadware durability

thanks HT

Don't make 2 threads next time. Also, theres no need for all capital letters in the title.

Z rated why do you need Z rated tires? or are you one of those people that think that Speed ratings has some thing to do with tire grip?

more or less. a tire with a higher speed rating can withstand the heat generated by high speed driving better. a sticky tire will typically have a high traction grade (AA) and low treadwear rating (<200)

more or less what this guy said but it's not in stone.

a 200 treadware rating from bridgestone is diff from 200 treadware from another brand. Your only hope is to try tires out and talk to people that know want they are talking about.

Speed rating has NOTHING to do with grip

UTQG ratings are crap. There is no standardized testing for these results, because of this each manufacturer can stamp whatever they want on the side of the tire. I am not saying that they have no bearing whatsoever on the performance of the tire, but they should not be the final decision maker.

I sell tires and unless those are the only choices you have I'd go with a Michelin Pilot Sport. Much better all around Z rated performance tire than any of the above. Pirelli Pzeros are nice too, but alot of road noise.
