What to look out for on swapped cars?
Im looking at trading my car for a 92 hatch with a b18(GSR). What problems might I have or things I should look for? I new to the hybrid game so any advice would be appreciated.

Why not have the car taken to a mechanic shop and have a mechanic look at it? spend the $50 and save yourself from missing something that the mechanic wont.

Definately have someone who has done the swap before and knows what to look for go with you. I'd be very wary of buying a previously swapped car, as you KNOW it's been beat on.

Before you buy the car, turn the key to the "on" position so the lights on your guage cluster come on. Make sure the Check Engine light comes on for a few seconds. Some people will pull the bulbs if they can't figure out what's wrong with the engine or if it's too expensive to fix and they're just trying to get rid of the car.
This kid is doing the swap before we trade. It has the stock D series now. I know a couple of his friends are they know what they're doing but I just dont want any surprizes.
