i have a dx hatch weighing in at 2250lbs...and i have dyno my car at 220 whp...im planning on running it this weekend...what times should i expect?...with bfg goodrich drags radicals...mid 12's?...thanks.

 

Everything is relative so it all depends.

Maybe low to mid 13's.

 

with that weight, i would guess high 12s...on slicks. On drags, I think that low to mid 13s will be the reality.

Car was a 2015lb DX Hatch
with B18C1, Dynoed 204/142

 

You could run a 12 second pass. Its definately not out of the question, even with the drag radials. But seeing that you have no seat time. Im gonna guess mid 13's at best. Unless your lucky enough to be consistent and pull good 60 fts on your first day at the track.

tom(b18c5-eh2) ran a 13.3 in his cx with pretty much a stock b18c5 and slicks. he said he could have pulled a 12.9 on another run if he had a better launch and his shifter fork hadn't broke on him. I would think anywhere in the 180-200whp range should get mid 13's or faster.

 

i'd say mid 12s. my friend ran a 13.5 on slicks with a 170whp gsr EG Si.

its posiible but i ran a 13.6 on drag radial my car is an integra realistic border 13.0 to 21.80-90's put slicks it'll run a 12.0-12.40

You guys are all INSANE...

I ran 12.80's @ 106mph in a 2200lb Civic Coupe N/A with *30* less horsepower to the wheels.

With 220whp and that weight, the car should do 12.30's

 

My friends car made 207 hp 143 tq weigh 2000lbs and ran 12.2 on 22x9x13 sliccs wit a peg leg tranny. Another friend made 211 hp 142 tq weighed 2279 ran 12.6 on 22x8x13 sliccs. So go with the 22x9x13 cuz of your tq and youll hit 12.2 wit a good driver.

 

you'll hit mid to high 12's for sure depending on the driver and a good set of slicks

 

i figure 12's should be easy with good driving...

but good driving does take time and practice...so don't expect them out of the box
