Lisa Kubo 7.72@191 VIDEO
We're trying to recover from the isane weekend at NDRA VMP.
I'll get all of my pics and video up as soon as I can (gotta fix the bent valves sometime soon too)
got a 1.4mb clip of Kubo's $10,000 winning pass on the site up right now.
Check it out.

click on race101 in his signature. I couldn't get the vid to work and I do have code c, might just be my computer though.

stupid DIVX codec.
You have to have the lastest version (at least the 5.1.1 'free' version)
On two of my computers it works fine. On this one, I had to use the DIVX player (quicktime only played the audio).
I'll go back and make a version without DIVX (it may be a bigger file).
Oh, GTP, I tell ya, I was ready to start looking for a different platfrom to build on, but a weekend like this is what keeps me going.
I pulled a decent 1.47 sixty on these worn out M&H's.
My 1/8th was a new best of 6.7@102
I really wasn't expecting the 10.74, especially since I shifted pretty slow to 4th. We don't have good video of the pass, the Autronic datalog shows a big dip there.
There are a lot of options left in this chassis/engine. I was waiting to see what to do as far as the different sanctioning body rules. Mostly looking at weight penalties for displacement and back-half chassis.
Even with every thing I want to do, NDRA would let me weigh ~1530 (I'm currently at 1610lbs). NHRA 1725, IDRC 1750.
So I may have to stick to mostly NDRA series if I want to be in the mix.

you made a quicktime clip that used the divx codec... since quicktime can't automatically download the divx codec from the quicktime website, that is not an internet-friendly combination.
you should dump divx entirely, and use the free windows media 9 encoder... that way everyone can easily see the video clip without any hassles, and the quality is at least as good, if not better, than divx.
hang in there with the water-pumper vw, you should have some competition soon... there is a guy back east who's getting an h20 vw motor built by joe aragona, due out later this year, it ought to be bad-*** if they can get the clutch figured out.
for that 10.7!

I put up a higher quality (but ;larger file) .mov without the divx

Thanx for the comp's. I'm been running all-motor dub's since 1997. (before there was even a Pro-Stock import class). I'll be sticking a long time.
