-look to see if the shock is leaking fluid
-inspect the suspension bushings for failure
-check wheel for a bent lip
-check tire for sidewall failure
-?

Lower control arm may have taken a hit, may be bent somewhat. They will verify that when they try to align it.

Control arms and wheel bearings (these go bad quick if you take a whack to the side).

Suspension pieces of Hondas bend very easily.

Bring money.

i wonder if some of suspension could have been bent when i slid into a curb last winter at like 20mph or so. The hub ended up going bad a month or so after and my car has been driving like **** ever since. Always some kind've a shake in the front end. Would you guys recommend a shop looking at the same kind've things? bent suspension? B.c my front end just shakes back and fourth as soon as the car starts to move. This is driving me crazy, I hate my car now

Happen to me too last Monday! Almost in the same shoe as you, but my tires skidded on wet ground and I hit the curve, hit it pretty hard too. Heard a loud boom when I hit the curve. Went down and check, got a small chunk of the rim scrape off, afterward, alignment was messed up and steering wheel vibrating a little bit. Luckily i was turning right when my tires skidded, but it slid left and my front left rim obsorbed most of the damage, no body damage to the car.

So I went home, take off the two front tires, exam inside the tire well on both side, everything looks ok, no leaks from shocks, nothing looks bent. I also examine the rim to see if it might be be bent, doesn't look like it except the cometic scratch on one of the rim which obsorb the impact. Afterward, I put my rims back on, and my alignment got a little better, but still off.

I'm going this weekend to get a alignment and my all my wheels rebalance.

just got back from the shop, I found out that my header got bend~! FXXX
my alignment is off, bumper and side panel is scratch up and crack. Other then that, everything else seems ok......rims didn't bend, control arm is good..suspension is good.

When I curbed my R and did $3,500 in damage I made an insurance claim (tip: don't call your insurance and tell them that you're "thinking of making a claim and just want to find out what it would do to your rates" -- they will file it as a claim anyway)... anyway, a year later when my policy renewed, it went down from 194/mo to 119/mo!! Progressive rocks!

Yeah, progressive insurance is pretty good. Also, you might want to check and make sure your fender still lines up with your hood. I ran over a curb, and after that, the fender was about 1.5mm higher, sux
