ok, this just happened out of the blue. i didn't drive my car over the weekend, but today when i went to work it seemed fine, then i went on break and on my way back to work it felt like i was running on 3 cylinders and my car was smoking. then on the way home tonight it was acting the same way excepte the temp. gauge went all the way up. can anyone tell me what it is? at first i thought it was just a fouled plug, cause i haven't done a tune up on it yet. but i don't think that is it. please help

 

headgasket maybe? check your water and oil

 

check your compression and make sure that your not only running on 3 cylinders
