I saw a complete bolt on turbo package on cheapturbo.com earlier today.

Only thing is that i dont have 3 grand to spend on it. But that would definately be the best bolt on u can buy.

you can throw on a turbo and run 13's to 14's. depends on your setup and how well you tuned it.

if you have a CX or DX or VX hatch that is not a good time. YOu should be in low 15s with a hatch.

but for a 4 door or Si that is reasonable I guess

with some tweaking single cams can be pretty fast... my lil bros got a y8/EF and it ran a 14.8 in seattle... its pretty amazing to watch. last week he was at the track killing multiple DOHC civics and one VR6.

What model car do u have? 15.7 could either be a pretty good time or a pretty bad time depending on what car

that is awful . I know someone who ran a 14.5 with a z6 in a cx hatch with just boltons. I ran a shitty time with my y8 coupe when it was all motor. I ran a 15.9, but probably should have been in low 15's. I had i/h/e, test pipe,obd1 conversion with chipped p28, zex stage 2 cam, str cam gear for tuning, and i got my cars weight down to 2250 lbs. by removing ac, ps, seats, etc. My times should have been way faster, but I was completely bogging my launches and getting awful 60's.

His not jumping around, all he did was ask a simple question about his track time and ask'd if it was a decent time. No reason to respond with such a childish remark like the stupid one you just made!

It could be worse.. I ran three almost identical runs of 16.0 in a 4 door ex with a greddy kit. It was unintercooled at the time, and was much faster after the intercooler went on, but I never got a chance to run it again.

I will give the excuses too..
First time at track
Horrible tires
2.5 60's
and a slipping clutch.

Congrats, I ran a 15.7 @ 86 my first time at the track back in 99' when my EX was stock with only a shitty intake and greddy exhaust... 2.2's on shitty potenza's... last time I ever took it to the 1/4 and also the first.

Hey, My goal for my car was to break into the 15's. Last year I got 16.09, with I/E. 92 Si H/B.

I'm very happy with my car.

BTW we are over sea level here so car times are slower. Stock type r's do 15.4 with an intake.

I ran about the same with my 95 dx hatch D16z6 with 215,000 miles on the motor. (15.8) shitty 60ft time (2.57) I need practice. First time ever racing the car. mods were injen intake, apexi n1 catback with test pipe. im sure i could get that down to mid 15's with a better 60 ft.
